1.Never, under any circumstances is it ok to bad mouth a fellow clan member in public. If you have an issue with another member, discuss this in private.We have a private forum specifically for this sort of thing. There is no smack talking, flaming or anything derrogatory said by, to or about an *Area51* member or other players. That means you will not smack talk your opponents, or your teammates. If it is irritating you that someone is using nothing but an STG or a rocket...so be it. But not a word will be said in game. If your opponent or just some guy in the room you are in is saying negative things about you or your teammate, so be it. We must remember that silence can be our best alliance.

2.Cheating of any kind is forbidden in all *Area51* servers. Also to go along with cheating we have a several conditions which will be met at all times by both members and non members alike. They are:

  • No grenades under doors
  • No Silent Shots
  • No Teabagging
  • No blocking doors
  • No land sharking
  • No telenading
  • No accessing roofs without a texture on them. (If you can see through what you are standing on, you are breaking the rules)

3.Our passwords are private. They are for clan members only. Do not give out passwords to non clan members.

4. When invited to be a member of Area51, you are asked to pick a player name. After being accepted into the clan, you are NOT allowed to change your name unless you attain the rank of General. Failure to comply will result in either demotion or termination.  Never under any circumstances will anyone impersonate an officer. We have assigned you a rank. That is what you will keep until promoted. Impersonating an officer is also punishable by demotion or dismissal.

5. The highest ranking officer or general will be in charge of console and will admin the server AT ALL TIMES. The exception being if a higher ranked officer or general allows a lower ranking officer or general to take control. Those members without rcon will not admin the server. If a rule is being broken, and no officer or general is present, it shall be the duty of said member(s) to warn the offender ONE TIME ONLY. If after the the intial warning is not heeded by the offender, then said member(s) shall take a screenshot and post it to the Mysterious Aliens section of our forums. The Generals will then take the matter for further review or action.

6. GENERALS and OFFICERS are the only members that will discuss and organize clan matches unless an enlisted member is directed to do so by a superior officer.

7. Members MUST check forums regularly.....we do not require you to post however that is always welcome, but you MUST check forums frequently. We have the ability to monitor how often you check the forums even if you do not post. By regulary we feel you should at least check the forums once every two weeks to keep up with any and all changes in Area51. This is not an option. This is a requirement of Area51 membership.

8. There will be at least a 2 week bootcamp for all new recruits. This is neither arguable, debatable, or negotiable. Upon completion of bootcamp, the Generals will assess the recruits performance and either issue a rank or a dismissal.

9. Area51 maintains a public Ventrilo server as well. Aside from the common basic rules of respect, we have one rule which will be enforced from this point on. There will be no giving away player positions after death. If you are in spectate then you are not allowed to tell another ventrilo user where a player is at any given time.

10. Above all, maintain an honest and positive attitude towards your fellow members and the general public. We are an HONORABLE people. Most importantly, have fun! That is what brought us all together in the first place. That is where our roots are and that is what we need to maintain.

11. Failure to comply with any of the above rules will be ground for demotion, dismissal or ban per order of the generals disgression.

12. The minimum age requriement for membership in Area51 is 18 yrs old. Any members currently under the age of 18 are hereby grandfathered in and shall remain Area51 members.
